In 2025, UNICEF Luxembourg continued its commitment to defending the rights of every child, both in Luxembourg and worldwide, in a context marked by worsening humanitarian crises, prolonged conflicts, and increasing pressure on international funding. Thanks to the loyal support of the public, partners, and donors, €8.58 million was mobilized to support UNICEF programs for the most vulnerable children.
At the international level, these resources made it possible to respond to numerous emergency situations, notably in Gaza, Ukraine, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Madagascar, Myanmar, and other contexts where children face violence, poverty, forced displacement, or lack of access to healthcare, education, and safe drinking water.
In Luxembourg, UNICEF continued its advocacy and awareness-raising efforts around national priorities such as child poverty, youth mental health, and children’s access to justice. The year 2025 was also marked by strengthened actions in education on children’s rights, increased youth engagement, and numerous initiatives carried out with schools, municipalities, businesses, and civil society.
The 2025 annual report presents the results of this collective mobilization, provides transparency on the use of funds, and illustrates the concrete impact of the actions taken to improve children’s lives.
