To show their support for World Children’s Day, buildings and monuments around the world will light up in blue.
In 2019, among hundreds of others, the Acropolis of Athens, the historic site of Petra in Jordan, the bridges over the Bosphorus in Turkey, the Philharmonie of the City of Luxembourg, the buildings of private companies such as SES in Betzdorf and the town halls of twenty-one municipalities in Luxembourg have lit up in blue to show their solidarity with children’s rights.
